KACPER BATYCKI
A graduate of the State Music School of the 1st degree Mieczysław Karłowicz in Przeworsk and the Complex of State Music Schools in Przemyśl, where he learned to play the accordion under the supervision of Sławomir Wilk. Currently, he is studying at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in the class of prof. dr hab. Klaudiusz Baran and Dr. Grzegorz Palus. During his education at the 1st degree school, he represented the school and the city of Przeworsk at many accordion competitions, including the Macroregional Accordion Competition in Tarnobrzeg (1st place) and Gorlice Accordion Confrontations (1st place). The greatest achievements of Kacper Batycki include: 1st prize at the Harmonica Fest in Tivat (Montenegro), 1st and 3rd place at the Gorlice Accordion Confrontations, 3rd place at the Young Instrumentalists Competition in Jasło, 5th place with distinction at the International Accordion Festival in Przemyśl, 3rd place at International Accordion Competition in Vilnius (Lithuania), 2nd place at the National Accordion Competition in Słupca, 1st place at the International Music Competition for Young Musician in Kaunas (Lithuania), 3rd place at the 44th Premio Internazionale Fisarmonica in Castelfidardo (Italy).
BARTŁOMIEJ BIAŁCZAK
He started playing the accordion at the age of 12 at the Music Center in Ostrołęka under Witold Krukowski. Later, he continued his education at the Zygmunt Noskowski State Music School of the 1st and 2nd degree in Ostrołęka, studying accordion in the class of Piotr Gawroński. Currently, he is a student at the Grażyna and Kiejstut Bacewicz Academy of Music in Łódź, under the guidance of Dr. Eneasz Kubit. He won the 3rd prize at the 16th Grudziądz Accordion Competition in 2019.
SZYMON JANKOWSKI
He is a graduate of the State School of Music of the 1st and 2nd degree in Zgierz. He is currently studying at the Grażyna and Kiejstut Bacewicz Academy of Music in Łódź, in the class of Dr. Eneasz Kubit. Winner of many awards and distinctions in music competitions of national and international rank, including in Kraków, Wrocław, Rzeszów and Sanok. In 2020, he was a laureate of the „e-Bank of Talents” scholarship program, and in 2021 he received an artistic scholarship from the Marshal of the Łódź Voivodeship.
DAWID KOSIŃSKI
A graduate of the State Music School I and II degree in Zduńska Wola in the class of Mr. Dariusz Wlazło, he is currently studying at the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice in the accordion class of Dr. Hab. Daniel Lis. As a soloist and chamber musician, he has won international and national competitions, including the 12th Andrzej Krzanowski Accordion Competition (3rd place and a special award for the best performance of an Andrzej Krzanowski piece), the 47th International Accordion Competition in Pula (1st prize), the 26th International Accordion Festival in Przemyśl (honorable mention), the 14th Competition of 20th and 21st Century Music for Young Performers 2022 (honorable mention), the 20th Gorlice Accordion Confrontations (2nd place in the chamber category), the 2nd National Accordion Festival named after Prof. Mirosław Niziurski (2nd place in the chamber category), and the 3rd National Chamber Music Competition „Young Duetomania 2024” (3rd place). He has participated in courses and masterclasses led by eminent accordionists, including Klaudiusz Baran, Grzegorz Stopa, Marek Andrysek, Maciej Frąckiewicz, Leszek Kołodziejski, Grzegorz Palus, Giorgio Dellarole, Semion Schmelkov, Franko Božac, and Raimondas Sviackevičius. He is a laureate of the „Young Poland” Scholarship Program of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage. He received the Artistic Scholarship of the Marshal of the Łódź Voivodeship, the „Professionals in Łódź – Scholarships for the Most Talented on Bis” scholarship, and the Maria Osińska Scholarship – 20th edition.
KRZYSZTOF MADYDA
Winner of 30 awards at national and international competitions. Multiple scholarship holder of the Rector’s Award of the Krzysztof Penderecki Academy of Music in Krakow for the best students. He also received a scholarship from the Minister of Culture and National Heritage in 2022. He took master classes under the supervision of such personalities as: Geir Draugsvoll, Veli Kujala, Claudio Jacomucci, Grzegorz Stopa and Janne Rättyä. He graduated with distinction from his bachelor’s studies in the accordion class of Dr. Janusz Pater and his master’s studies in the class of Dr. Maciej Zimka at the Krzysztof Penderecki Academy of Music in Krakow. In the years 2022-2024 he continued his education at the master’s studies at the Hochschule für Musik Detmold in the accordion class of Dr. Maciej Frąckiewicz. In the academic year 2021/2022 he pursued his studies at the same university as an Erasmus+ scholarship holder. He is an active artist in Poland and Germany. He has performed at the Krakow Accordion Festival, the International Artistic-Scientific Conference „On the Road to New Harmony”, and the 6th Schlossfestival in Detmold.
KAROL MICHALIK
Graduate of the Ignacy Jan Paderewski State Music School Complex in Gorlice in the accordion class of Aleksander Cetnarowski, MA, and the Fryderyk Chopin State Secondary Secondary Music School in Kraków in the accordion class of Dr. Wiesław Ochwat. Since October this year, a student at the Krzysztof Penderecki Academy of Music in Kraków. Winner of national and international competitions, including: International Accordion Competition Ostrava (1st prize), National Accordion Music Festival in Solec-Zdrój (1st prize), International Polish Music Competition for Children and Youth in Łódź (1st prize), Gorlice Accordion Confrontations (3rd prize). Participant in workshops led by outstanding teachers.
LUCIE NIGOUL BELLONNET
Currently, she is a student at the Krzysztof Penderecki Academy of Music in Krakow in the class of Dr. Maciej Zimka. She started playing the accordion when she was six, and at the age of nine, she was admitted to the Toulouse Conservatory to the instrumental class (Guy Olivier Ferla, then Grégory Daltin), where she perfected Renaissance counterpoint and classical writing (diploma in counterpoint in 2019 and award for writing in 2023, in the classes of Guy Olivier Ferla, Franc Saint Paul). The artist enriches herself with new horizons during festivals and international artistic meetings. She is a dedicated performer of works by Alain Abbott and Guy Olivier Ferla. She studies classical improvisation with Loïc Mallié, co-owner of the Trinité organ in Paris, thus integrating the resources inherited from the masters of polyphony with the culture of the accordion. She has participated in international competitions, winning the international „Clés d’Or” award in France in 2021 and the „Accordion Star International Competition” in the United States, subsequently earning the accordion award with unanimous distinction. After receiving a very good evaluation and congratulations from the jury of the Toulouse Conservatory (class of Guy Olivier Ferla), Lucie Nigoul Bellonnet is resolutely embarking on her solo career, confidently supported by an instrument that – as she recalls – was created in Vienna in 1829 by Cyrill Demian, an organ and piano builder from this very romantic Austrian city.

In 2024, he graduated with a bachelor’s degree from the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice in the accordion class of Dr. Hab. Piotr Chołołowicz and Dr. Marcin Jabłoński. He is a laureate of national and international competitions, including in Prague, Ostrava, Pula, Vilnius, Sanok, Gorlice, and Mława. As a soloist and chamber musician, he has performed at the International Accordion Days AkoPoznań, the EMANACJE Festival organized by the ECMKP in Lusławice, the „Symphony of Art” Festival in Bratislava, the Accordion Music Festival in Solec-Zdrój, the Festival of Accordion Soloists and Ensembles in Kotlin, and at the International Conference „Accordion Without Borders” in Częstochowa. He has performed with the New Music Orchestra, the NOSPR Academy Orchestra, as well as with the European Union Youth Orchestra and the Academic Symphony Orchestra. He has participated in workshops with outstanding artists and educators, including Maciej Frąckiewicz, Klaudiusz Baran, Grzegorz Stopa, Giorgio Dellarole, Adam Sztaba, Atom String Quartet, and Paweł Gusnar. He has been a scholarship holder of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage, the Marshal of the Podkarpackie Voivodeship, and the „Young Poland” program.
DAWID RYDZ
He is a graduate of the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw, where he studied under Professors Klaudiusz Baran and Rafał Grząka. In 2019, he pursued postgraduate studies at the Royal Danish Academy of Music in Copenhagen under the guidance of Prof. Geir Draugsvoll, graduating with distinction in 2022. He has won over 50 awards at national and international competitions. Through collaborations with Delirium Edition and Studio31, he pioneered the use of sampled accordion in microtonal music. Since 2020, he has been a member of the Accordion Trio Triossia, performing with them at venues such as Wigmore Hall in London and Pierre Boulez Saal in Berlin. He is actively engaged in both concert performance and teaching activities.

ŁUKASZ SKUBISZ
He began learning to play the accordion at the music school in Tarnów in the class of Wiesław Kusion, and he received his diploma under the guidance of Paweł Kusion. He is currently a third-year student at the Academy of Music in Katowice in the accordion class of Dr. hab. Daniel Lis. He is a laureate of numerous national and international competitions in Prague, Gorlice, Ostrava, Sanok, Pula, and Sochaczew. He received the Anna Knapik Award at the 37th Talent Week Festival, and in 2022, he was awarded a scholarship by the Minister of Culture and National Heritage. He has participated in workshops conducted by renowned educators such as Grzegorz Stopa, José Valente, Franko Božac, Giorgio Dellarole, and Frédéric Deschamps.
MYKOLA SYNIAHIVSKYI
Mykola Syniahivskyi was born in Poltava, and at the age of 6, he began his musical education at a music school, learning to play the accordion. In the ninth grade, he entered the Lviv National Music Lyceum, and he is currently studying at the Hochschule für Musik in Detmold. He has participated in many concerts and competitions.

He began his education at the age of seven at T. Szeligowski POSM 1st degree No. 2. in Poznań in the accordion class of M. Cezary Witlewski. In 2022, he graduated from J. Kaliszewska OSM II degree in the accordion class of Michał Gajda. Currently, he is a third-year student at the Hochschule für Musik Detmold (Germany) in the accordion class of Dr. Maciej Frąckiewicz. He took part in numerous national and international accordion competitions, where he won about 50 awards and distinctions. The most important achievements include: Young Musician of the Year 2022 (Finalist), National CEA Accordion Competition – 1st place, 58th Internationaler Akkordeonwettbewerb in Klingenthal – 3rd place.

Baszak & Kosiński Duo – an ensemble formed in 2022 at the initiative of cellist Aleksandra Baszak and accordionist Dawid Kosiński – both students of the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice. From the beginning of their collaboration, they have achieved 1st place at the 47th International Accordion Competition in Pula, 2nd place at the XX Gorlice Accordion Confrontations, and 3rd place at the 3rd National Chamber Music Competition „Duetomania Młodych 2024”. Bartłomiej Białczak started playing the accordion at the age of 12 at the Music Center in Ostrołęka under Witold Krukowski. Jakub Sofiński graduated with distinction from the Stanisław Moniuszko Music School Complex in Łódź, where he studied accordion under Professor Zbigniew Ignaczewski. He is currently a first-year master’s student in Professor Dr. Hab. Zbigniew Ignaczewski’s accordion class and a third-year bachelor’s student in Professor Dr. Hab. Artur Zagajewski’s composition class. Sofiński is a laureate of accordion competitions both in Poland and abroad (including in Poprad, Kaunas, Solec Kujawski, Słupca, and Sanok) and a winner of music history competitions. He has received several scholarships: the Artistic Scholarship of the Marshal of the Łódź Voivodeship (2017, 2020), the „Professionals in Łódzkie – Scholarships for the Most Talented” (2018), the Minister of Culture and National Heritage Scholarship (2019), and the Rector’s Scholarship of the Grażyna and Kiejstut Bacewicz Academy of Music in Łódź (2022/23).

Jan Chłap is currently a student at the Hochschule für Musik Detmold, where he is perfecting his skills under the supervision of Professor Janos Balint. Since November 2023, Jan has held the position of principal flutist at the Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra in Katowice (NOSPR). In addition, in 2024 he was selected to take part in the spring tour with the European Union Youth Orchestra (EUYO). He has won numerous awards, including prizes at over 30 competitions in Poland and abroad. In addition, he has had the opportunity to perform as a soloist with respected ensembles such as the Bremerhaven Philharmonic and the Silesian Chamber Orchestra. He has collaborated with esteemed conductors such as Marin Alsop, Leonard Slatkin, Leopold Hager, Christian Arming, Christoph Eschenbach, Daniel Stabrawa, Alexander Humala, Monika Wolińska and Paweł Kotla. Jan has also enriched his musical knowledge and skills by participating in master classes led by esteemed artists such as Silvia Careddu, Rozalia Szabo, Gergely Ittzes, Denis Bouriakov, Peter-Lukas Graf, Wissam Boustany, Antoni Wierzbiński and Ewelina Zawiślak. He is a laureate of scholarships such as: Deutschlandstipendium, Peter und Monica von Möller Stiftung, and the Stipendium der Sibylle and Hannes Frank Stiftung.

Zofia Bajorek is a cellist from Krakow. She graduated from the Stanisław Wiechowicz Primary Music School and the Władysław Żeleński Secondary Music School in Krakow. She completed her bachelor’s studies at the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice under the guidance of Dr. Arkadiusz Dobrowolski. Currently, she is pursuing her master’s degree at Codarts Conservatory in Rotterdam, studying under Professor Joachim Eijlander. Zofia has won awards as a soloist and chamber musician, including first prize at the 47th International Accordion Competition in Pula (with Trio Ewolucja), third prize at the 1st Meeting of Young Violinists, Cellists, and Guitarists in Trzciana, and a distinction at the 9th National Competition „Young Polish Cellist” in Bochnia. She has honed her skills in masterclasses with renowned musicians such as Stanisław Firlej, Andrzej Orkisz, Tomasz Strahl, and Kazimierz Michalik. She has participated in numerous orchestral projects, including the Cracow Youth Chamber Orchestra, FMF Youth Orchestra, and Berlin Opera Academy. Since 2023, she has been a co-founder and cellist of Trio Ewolucja.

Wiktoria Szymczyk is a graduate of ZPSM No. 1 in Warsaw, where she studied under Dr. Jakub Jakowicz. She recently completed her bachelor’s studies at the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice under the guidance of Dr. Piotr Kwaśny. She has had the pleasure of performing with orchestras such as the Virtuosos of Lviv and the Świętokrzyska Philharmonic, with whom she performed Grazyna Bacewicz’s Violin Concerto No. 3. Wiktoria has achieved success in both solo (e.g., 1st place at the International Competition „Kaunas sonorum” in Lithuania) and chamber music competitions (e.g., 1st place at the International Accordion Competition in Pula with Trio Ewolucja). She has refined her skills through numerous courses and workshops with educators such as Łukasz Błaszczyk, Andrzej Gębski, Agata Szymczewska, Milan Červenak, and Paolo Zordanazzo. Her artistic endeavors focus on exploring new directions in music and engaging audiences in emotional experiences.

Additionally, she has received multiple scholarships from the Center for Artistic Education and the Silesian Program „We’re investing in talent”.

Antoni Chmielniak, Tomasz Piasecki, and Jakub Kazimierski – three distinct personalities, two cities, one ensemble – the accordion trio KAT (named after the first letters of their names). They were brought together by their shared chamber music studies in October 2022, and since then, they have been playing diverse music together – from Bach and Mendelssohn to works by contemporary composers such as Piasecki and Jacomucci. From the beginning of their journey together, they have been mentored by outstanding educators: Przemysław Wojciechowski, Adam Maksymienko, and Mateusz Stankiewicz. Each member of the trio started their accordion adventure at the age of 7. Tomasz and Jakub studied at the Grażyna Bacewicz State Primary and Secondary Music Schools in Warsaw under the guidance of Robert Kuśmierski. Antoni began at the Primary Music School in Goleniów with Roman Rydz, continuing at the State Music Schools in Gorzów Wielkopolski and later in Stargard. All three graduated with honors and shortly after passed their entrance exams to the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music, where they continue their studies to this day. They inspire each other to play while having fun and enjoying musical experiences together.

A band consisting of three ambitious and passionate musicians: Krzysztof Polnik, Kacper Batycki, and Kacper Kaczmarek. Although each musician is unique, together they create a cohesive whole, which translates into a shared understanding of music.
