We are looking for the eyesand ears of Alkagran
For six days in Czechowice-Dziedzice, dozens of young accordionists from eleven countries take the stage. We are looking for people to help us show it — and for people who simply want to be part of the festival from the inside.
What you would do
The Alkagran Diary — regular sections we want to run throughout the festival.
Live coverage
Instagram, stories and Reels — what is happening right now, before the day is over.
“What did the composer mean?”
Score fragments explained — why a piece sounds the way it does.
“Backstage Survival Guide”
Behind the scenes — six days of the competition seen from the organisers’ and artists’ side.
“Locals ask the artists”
Questions from the people of Czechowice to artists from eleven countries.
“Quick Fire”
Short interviews with participants and jurors — a few questions, a few minutes.
“After-hours playlists”
What accordionists listen to when they are not playing the accordion.
Have your own idea for a format? Tell us — we will gladly add it.
Who we are looking for
We are not looking for someone to make coffee.
- A sense of humour — six days of festival is a long time.
- Social media know-how — you know what works and what bores.
- Basic musical knowledge — enough to know when not to interrupt.
- Communicative Polish or English — participants come from Europe and Asia.
- Open-mindedness — to people, to a schedule that shifts, and to your own ideas.
What we offer
Besides the experience itself.
- Backstage access — auditions, rehearsals, dressing rooms, the wings.
- Working with artists — jurors and performers from a dozen countries.
- Official references — written and signed by the organiser.
- Free entry to all concerts — including the ticketed ones.
Not into media? There is plenty else.
A festival is more than coverage. We also need help with participant registration, handing out welcome packs, looking after the audience and the stand, assisting at concerts — and with everything that cannot be planned for.
If you speak languages and want to look after our international guests, know your way around sound or lighting, take photographs, drive, or simply want to help and do not yet know how — write to us. We will find a role that fits you, not the other way round.
Write to us
Briefly: who you are, what you would like to do and which days you are free. No CV or portfolio needed — a few sentences and a link, if you have something to show.
