KACPER BATYCKI
A graduate of the State Music School of the 1st degree Mieczysław Karłowicz in Przeworsk and the Complex of State Music Schools in Przemyśl, where he learned to play the accordion under the supervision of Sławomir Wilk. Currently, he is studying at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in the class of prof. dr hab. Klaudiusz Baran and Dr. Grzegorz Palus. During his education at the 1st degree school, he represented the school and the city of Przeworsk at many accordion competitions, including the Macroregional Accordion Competition in Tarnobrzeg (1st place) and Gorlice Accordion Confrontations (1st place). The greatest achievements of Kacper Batycki include: 1st prize at the Harmonica Fest in Tivat (Montenegro), 1st and 3rd place at the Gorlice Accordion Confrontations, 3rd place at the Young Instrumentalists Competition in Jasło, 5th place with distinction at the International Accordion Festival in Przemyśl, 3rd place at International Accordion Competition in Vilnius (Lithuania), 2nd place at the National Accordion Competition in Słupca, 1st place at the International Music Competition for Young Musician in Kaunas (Lithuania), 3rd place at the 44th Premio Internazionale Fisarmonica in Castelfidardo (Italy) and 2nd place at National Competition of the Center for Artistic Education.

PRZEMYSŁAW CHAŁUPKA
PhD student at the University of Jan Długosz in Częstochowa, a graduate of the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice in the class of prof. Marek Andrysek. Laureate of many national and international competitions (Klingenthal 2019, Vilnius 2019, Pula 2019). He performed, among others in the NOSPR concert and chamber hall and during the 61st Warsaw Autumn Festival. He performs chamber music with his brother Wojciech and his wife Jagoda Krzemińska-Chałupka.

KAMIL DMOCHOWSKI
A graduate of the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice in the accordion class of dr hab. Piotr Chołołowicz and Dr. Marcin Jabłoński. Currently, he is studying at the Hochschule für Musik in Detmold under the supervision of Dr. Maciej Frąckiewicz. Laureate of international competitions organized in Poland, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Lithuania and Latvia in both solo and chamber categories. He has made guest appearances in the Stokłosa Collective Orchestra and Ensemble Reflektor (Hamburg, Germany). During music courses and workshops, he collaborated with professors such as Joseph Petric, Volodymyr Runchak, Raimondas Sviackevičius, Yurii Shishkin, Alexander Selivanov, Jerzy Jurek, Włodzimierz Lech Puchnowski, Klaudiusz Baran, Paweł Zagańczyk, and Jerzy Kaszuba.

KACPER KACZMAREK
A graduate of the Music School Complex of Krzysztof Komeda-Trzciński in Ostrów Wielkopolski in the accordion class of MSc. Piotr Słociński. Currently a student of the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw in the accordion class of prof. dr. hab. Claudius Baran and Dr. hab. Rafał Grząka. Participant of many music courses, incl. international accordion workshops at the Krzysztof Penderecki European Music Center in Lusławice. He is a laureate of many national and international competitions, including: Słupeckie Music Meetings (five-time laureate), the „Harmonia Espressiva” Accordion Festival in Sochaczew (three-time laureate), the National Accordion Competition „Harmonia Viva” in Trzebnica (2018, 1st prize), International Music Competition in Serbia (2018 and 2019, winner of the 1st prize), the International Accordion Competition „Italia Award” in Italy (2021, winner of the 1st prize in the soloists category and 3rd prize in the professional ensembles category) and the International Accordion Competition „Word Open Music Competition ”In Serbia (1st prize winner). In 2016-2019, he was awarded the „Złoty Wiolinek” staroste’s award four times in recognition of his artistic successes, and in 2021 he was awarded the Culture Laurel of the Staroste Ostrowski for the artistic and cultural activity of people who build the potential of the Ostrow County on a daily basis.

MICHAŁ KAŁUŻA
A graduate of the State Music School of the 1st degree in Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski and the Secondary Music School of the 2nd degree in Kielce in the class of M.Sc. Zbigniew Swat. Since 2018, he has been studying at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw in the class of prof. dr. hab. Klaudiusz Baran and Dr. Grzegorz Palus. From October 2020, he studied at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz in Austria with prof. Janne Rättyä, while continuing his studies at the FCUM in Warsaw. He is a laureate of many national and international accordion competitions, including: 2nd prize at the Polish National Accordion Competition. Mirosław Niziurski in Kielce (2017), 2nd prize at the International Accordion Competition in Poprad (Slovakia, 2019), 2nd prize at the International Accordion Competition in Gorlice (2019 and 2021), 1st prize at the London Classical Music Competition (2022), 1st place at 13th World Open Music Competition in Belgrade (2022).

DAWID KOSIŃSKI
A graduate of the State Primary and Secondary Music School in Zduńska Wola in the class of M.Sc. Dariusz Wlazło. Currently, he is studying at the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice in the class of Dr. Daniel Lisa. As a soloist, he is a laureate of international and national accordion competitions, including: the 2nd National Accordion Festival. prof. Mirosław Niziurski in Kielce (1st place), 3rd International Accordion Competition Stanisław Moniuszko in Solec Kujawski (2nd prize), 19th Gorlice Accordion Confrontations (3rd place), International Accordion Competition in Ostrava (3rd place), 2nd Academic Accordion Competition „AkordeOn-line” (3rd place) and the National Competition Center for Artistic Education 2022 in accordion specialties (distinction). He took part in courses and master classes, working under the supervision of outstanding accordionists, incl. Klaudiusz Baran, Bogdan Dowlasz, Marek Andrysk, Maciej Frąckiewicz, Grzegorz Palus, Giorgio Dellarole, Semion Schmelkov, Borut Zagorański, Raimondas Sviackevičius, Volodymyr Runchak. He received the Artistic Scholarship of the Marshal of the Lodz Region, the Scholarship „Professionals in Lodzkie – scholarships for the most talented at Bis” and the Maria Osińska Scholarship – 20th edition.

NATALIA KOWALSKA
A graduate of the State Music School of the 1st degree in Zgierz in the class of M.Sc. Maciej Ćwikliński and General Secondary Music School of Henryk Wieniawski in Łódź, where she worked under the supervision of MSc. Daniel Baranowski. Currently, a 3rd year student of the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw in the class of prof. dr. hab. Klaudiusz Baran and Dr. Grzegorz Palus. She has participated in many national and international competitions as well as workshops conducted by outstanding musicians. From 2020, together with the violinist Magdalena Czestkowska, they create „Accorvion Duo”. She is a scholarship holder of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage, the National Children’s Fund, the Marshal of the Łódź Province and the President of the City of Zgierz.

JAKUB KUPIEC
He graduated with honors the State Secondary Music School of Karol Szymanowski in Katowice in the accordion class of M.Sc. Michał Opeldus. Currently, he is studying classical accordion at the Academy of Music in Katowice in the class of prof. Marek Andrysek. He attended master classes conducted, among others, by Bogdan Dowlasz and Maciej Frąckiewicz. He is a laureate of national and international competitions, his more important achievements include, among others 3rd place at the National Accordion Competition in Słupca (2019) and 2nd place at the International Accordion Competition in Ostrava (2018).

KRZYSZTOF MADYDA
He is a student of the second year of master’s studies at the Krzysztof Penderecki Academy of Music in Kraków in the accordion class of Dr. Maciej Zimka and the 1st year of master’s studies at the Hochschule für Musik Detmold, where in the academic year 2021/2022 he studied as an Erasmus + scholarship holder in the class of Dr. Maciej Frąckiewicz. He is a laureate of national and international competitions, including International Music Competition OPUS 2021 (1st place), 11th International Music Competition in Belgrade (1st place), 21st International Accordion Meetings „Sanok 2021” (3rd place). He took part in master classes under the guidance of such accordionists as: Claudio Jacomucci, Joseph Petric, Mika Väyrynen, Predrag Janković, Maciej Frąckiewicz, Grzegorz Palus, Marek Andrysek. He is a scholarship holder of the Rector of the Academy of Music. Krzysztof Penderecki in Krakow for the best students. In 2018, he received the „Award of the Krakow Poviat for outstanding achievements in the field of artistic creation, promotion and protection of culture”.

SYLWESTER MARCZUK
Accordionist, soloist, chamber musician, arranger and music producer. Founder of the Silesian Tango Quintet. Currently a student of the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice in the class of prof. dr hab. Marek Andrysek. His repertoire includes both popular and classical music. He actively performs in Poland and abroad (Italy, Germany, Czech Republic, Belgium). He has participated in many master classes, studying under the supervision of outstanding teachers, such as Ricardas Sviackevičius, Roman Jbanov, Domi Emorine, Włodzimierz Lech Puchnowski, Zbigniew Ignaczewski, Elwira Śliwkiewicz-Cisak and many others. Multiple scholarship holder of the Marshal of the Lublin Province and the President of the City of Lublin.

DAMIAN MARKOWICZ
A student of the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice in the accordion class of Dr. Daniel Lis. As a soloist and chamber musician, he participated in workshops conducted by, among others Juri Szyszkin, Maciej Frąckiewicz, Volodymyr Runchak, Joseph Petric, Raimondas Sviackevičius.

PAWEŁ MURZYN
A student of the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice. He took part in many concerts in places important for culture: the Gardens of Art, the Senator’s Hall of the Wawel Royal Castle, the Teatr im. Juliusz Słowacki, the ICE Congress Center, the Krzysztof Penderecki European Music Center in Lusławice, the Auditorium Maximum of the Jagiellonian University and others. He is a member of the Crazy Accordion Trio with which he has performed at festivals such as Wianki Krakowskie or Maraton Hudby Brno (Czech Republic). In recognition of their achievements and the high artistic level, the ensemble’s recordings were included on the 70th anniversary album of the Władysław Żeleński in Kraków, as well as on the album of the Pro Musica Bono foundation, next to such names as Krzysztof Książek and Szymon Nehring.

NIGOUL BELLONNET LUCIE
From 2022 a student of the Krzysztof Penderecki Academy of Music in Krakow. She graduated with honors from Toulouse Conservatory (taught by Guy Olivier Ferla and Grégory Daltin). She participated in the Specialist Cycle of Harmony and Fugue (taught by Franc Saint Paul) and classes in classical improvisation (in the Bach-Schumman-Messiaen style) with Loic Mallié. In 2018, she graduated with the highest distinction in Chamber Music. She has received a number of awards at competitions, including at the International Star Accordion Competition in the USA and the Clés d’Or International Music Competition in France, as well as awards and certificates in the field of music theory (including counterpoint). She is a co-founder of Musical Editions Linéaments. She premiered and first recorded the piece In Omnem Terram by Guy Olivier Ferla. She performs as a soloist with accordion recitals.

MACIEJ OCHWAT
A graduate of the State Music School of the 1st degree Witold Lutosławski and the 2nd degree Private Music School in Jasło. Currently a student of the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice in the accordion class of dr hab. Piotr Chołołowicz and Dr. Marcin Jabłoński. Winner of the Grand Prix of the National Music Competition of the Center of Artistic Education 2021 in the accordion specialty, as well as many other national and international accordion competitions (in Ostrava, Vilnius, Poprad, Przemyśl, Słupca, Sochaczew). He perfected his skills at workshops conducted, among others, by Klaudiusz Baran, Grzegorz Palus, Maciej Frąckiewicz, Bogdan Dowlasz, Volodymyr Runchak. He gave concerts at the Krzysztof Penderecki European Music Center in Lusławice (as part of the „Presentations” program), in the concert hall of the Music School Complex No. 1 in Warsaw, at the Royal Castle in Warsaw, as well as on television broadcasts. Scholarship holder of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage, the Marshal of the Podkarpackie Voivodeship and the „Young Poland” scholarship program.

KRZYSZTOF POLNIK
A graduate of the Secondary Music School in Przemyśl. Student of the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw. He is the winner of many accordion competitions including: Castelfidardo (Italy), Klingenthal (Germany), Vilnius (Lithuania), Poprad (Slovakia). Finalist of the TV program „”Young Musician of the Year 2020”.

DOMINIK SZAUER
He began learning to play the accordion at the age of six with Jacek Gąsior and Waldemar Wróblewski. As a laureate of the scholarship program of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage „Young Poland”, in the 2011/2012 school year, he began studying at the Paul Dukas Conservatory in Paris in the accordion and chamber music class of professor Max Bonnay. In 2014, he additionally enrolled at the Conservatory of Edgar Varèse with the famous prof. Franck Angelis – accordion teacher and composer. At the age of 18, he returned to Poland and passed his high school diploma. Now he is continuing his accordion studies at the Academy of Music in Wrocław.

JÓZEF WAJDZIK
In the years 2010-2020 he studied in the class of Cezary Witlewski, MA. Currently, he is a graduate of Dr. Michał Gajda at the OSM II st. Jadwiga Kaliszewska in Poznań. He is a laureate of about 50 international and national competitions.

DAMIAN ZYSKOWSKI
A graduate of the State Music School of the 1st degree in Szczuczyn in the class of Dariusz Stefanowski and the General Secondary Music School of Witold Lutosławski in Białystok in the class of prof. Jerzy Kozłowski. Currently, he is a student of the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw in the class of dr hab. Rafał Grząka and Dr. Grzegorz Palus. He has participated in numerous master classes, where he has worked under the supervision of outstanding teachers. As a soloist, he has achieved many successes at national and international accordion competitions. He is a laureate of the 19th edition of the „Young Poland” Program and a two-time scholarship holder of the Marshal of the Podlaskie Voivodeship. He has performed in many cultural centers in Poland.

The duo is made up of students of the Grażyna and Kiejstut Bacewicz Academy of Music in Łódź. The ensamble started cooperation in 2020 and operates under the supervision of Dr. Eneasz Kubit.

Gabriela and Michał Kubarski have been cooperating for ten years, giving concerts in the most important cultural centers in Upper Silesia. The duo received the 1st prize in the chamber music category during the 25th International Accordion Music Festival in Przemyśl (2017). Gabriela Kubarska is a graduate of the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice in the violin class of prof. Roman Lasocki and in the chamber music class of prof. Maria Szwajger-Kułakowska and prof. Marek Moś. She perfected her skills at master classes in violin and chamber music with outstanding artists, including Paolo Zordanazzo, Jakub Jakowicz, Bartosz Bryła, Naomi Oliphant, Apollon Musagète Quartet. She is a laureate of numerous competitions in Poland and abroad. She conducts a rich artistic activity as a soloist and chamber musician. He collaborates with the „AUKSO” Chamber Orchestra of the City of Tychy. Michał Kubarski is a graduate of the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice in the accordion class of Prof. dr. hab. Marek Andrysek. He has won many top prizes at prestigious accordion competitions and festivals in Poland and abroad. He is a scholarship holder of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage, the Rector of the Academy of Music in Katowice, the Minister of Science and Higher Education, as well as the „Musical Safety Pin” and the National Children’s Fund. He has performed many times with the Zabrze Philharmonic Orchestra, the Silesian Philharmonic, the „AUKSO” chamber orchestra of the city of Tychy, as well as with Kasia Moś, Józef Skrzek, Sebastian Riedel, Stanisław Soyka, Renata Przemyk, Natasza Urbańska, Łukasz Zagrobelny.

The accordion quintet was launched in 2022 by five accordionists associated with the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw.

Behind the mountains, beyond the forests, on the left bank of the Vistula River, five unaware young, insanely talented „musicians” accordionists met. It was a starry night, and the young artists together stated to rest under a beautiful oak tree. At that moment, an unusual star in the shape of an accordion bellows appeared in the sky. It was an obvious sign for them, and they agreed unanimously that they had to form an accordion quintet.

Nexum Duo is a chamber ensamble which in private life is a married couple. Jagoda and Przemysław perform together at festivals in Poland and abroad (Pula, Wołów, Katowice, Poznań). Winners of competitions in Poland and abroad (Vilnius, Kraków, Stockholm).
